[Solved] SCP and Windows OpenSSH server (Cygwin) problem

Postby ktp » Fri Oct 14, 2011 9:30 am

Hello,
Hello,

I have AndFTP 2.9.5 and got a problem with Windows OpenSSH server (Cygwin).
The problem is 100% reproducible: the connection is OK (and I can see the button
Disconnect), but there is no list of remote files (black screen). It looks like
that AndFTP did not like the format returned by Cygwin OpenSSH server.
There is no problem if I use against this SSH server a SSH client like PuTTY
or WinSCP.

Could you look at this problem and provide a fix? Thank you for your support.

Will try to reproduce the problem. I guess it's because of file entries format.

Hello,

I just want to update and close this topic, since it is an user error!

Finally I found out that the problem is with the Windows 7 firewall that blocks the inbound SSH connection. First I thought that the connection is established, but in fact it is not. The Disconnect button is not greyed out when no connection is established so this misleads me (could be a function to improve). For the Win7 firewall, you need to add sshd.exe as the program to be authorized, and not the cygrunsrv.exe.

Sorry for the false report.
