i've been using AndFTP (now at v2.9.8) to sync phone (master) to remote SFTP @ my desktop.
it's been working fine for three separate sync configs.
today, i added a fourth setup -- my entire "/sdcard". the /sdcard currently contains ~ 11GB.
i set it up, the sync started, and it got as far as ~850MB. then, I suddenly got a 'sync failed' notice.
i quit the AndFTP app, and restarted the sync process. Now, for *all* of the connections -- at the start of sync, the "Synchronization status" window opens ("Please wait while computing synch..."), and just 'spins' endlessly; the synch calc never finishes it seems.
I've restarted the phone, cleared all phone app caches, cleared dalvik cache, restarted the remote SFTP server -- most of the usual suspects -- to no avail. All AndFTP sync sessions just 'spin' ...
Simple 'connects' to the SFTP host work just fine.
Before I delete all AndFTP data, uninstall & reinstall the app -- is there some additional step I might take to get this working again?
after 1 AndFTP Sync-fail, ALL previously working Syncs failRe: after 1 AndFTP Sync-fail, ALL previously working Syncs fAll sync configurations are broken?
Click 'remove' to delete the one with full SDCard. Save all your settings? Options -> Menu -> Export to file Then Options -> Reset settings Followed by Options -> Menu -> Import from file. Try again. Re: after 1 AndFTP Sync-fail, ALL previously working Syncs fThat did the trick ... for all/each of the effected configs.
No idea what happened, or why, but -- thanks! |
