Is the action_pick available in the free versions

I have been using the andFTP Pro version for myself and like it. I am creating a complex app and would like users to be able to ftp me a copy of their database for support. Does the free version support sending files from my app using tha action_pick? Also how can I easily check if andftp is installed (take them to androif market if not)?
