I've recovered lots of the lost files due to mistransfer, however many files appear to be damaged after recovery. Any ideas about howto repair these?

I try to upload files from my Sd-card. But got a warning all files transfers failed and all my files are gone/deleted.

Can somebody help me how to find my files back. The photo's and video's of my kids are gone !
