IT was that port 445 was blocked by my ISP. When I switched to port 8888, it works no problem. So it seems a timeout may mean that the standard port is blocked.

You was using windows 2003 correct? I'm getting this problem as well. I'm using DarkyRom 9.5 on Samsung Galaxy S. It got the same problem with stock rom.
