Hallo! I got the same problem. I'm trying to connect to a remote SSH/SFTP machine. I specified an IP address and not a hostname. AndFTP keeps asking me for username and password over an over again. I can't find anything in the servers logfiles, too. AndFTP says "Autt fail" at the bottom of the scree...
