Since 10.8 (Mountain Lion) something has changed in MacOSX that makes AndSMB fails to connect. It reports wrong login/password. We're investigating this issue.
Still works fine under MacOSX 10.6

Same thing happens on Yosemite SMB share.
Not that one wants to put any kind of pressure, but we'd all appreciate whether you could let us know if you're still investigating on the issue.

If it helps, here's what console.log says:

MacOSX comes with a new native SMB2 and SMB3 implementations (not fully compatible with Samba). SMB1 is disabled and cannot be re-enabled even with "smb_neg=smb1_only" option in nsmb.conf:

A solution that works is to install a Samba server on your MacOSX such as:
Free SMBUp worked for us under El Capitan: http://eduo.info/apps/smbup

SMBv2/v3 is now available in AndSMB 3.5+
