Can't make AndSMB to view files on SMB share

Hi,
I seem to be missing something and I hope someone can offer me some help.
I use AndSMB to connect to the share on my webcam server. Motion software stores images on the disk, AndSMB connects to the same share and shows me all the images that have been recorded.
It should be possible to long press a image and then choose "view" from the menu I've been told by Chris. However, the only thing happening when pressing (long or short) is that the file is being "checked" or "unchecked". If I use the menu button on the tablet I have options to sort, delete, create folder but nothing like file viewing.
That was on a tablet running Android 2.3.2
Today I received another tablet (Sony P) with Android 4.02 (for use at work) so I decided to install AndSMB on this tablet also. However, results are the same. The share can be viewed, files can be copied but long pressing does not give any other results.
I would like to be able to view the images on the share rather than copying them to SD and view them with other software.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Ben
