Accessing S3 Home Directory

Postby sander » Sat Jan 10, 2015 10:20 pm

Hello,

I'm new to s3 and s3anywhere. I like the app as it is sple to use and straight to the point and I'm very tempted to get the pro version.

However, I was wondering if I can create a connection to the root directory of s3 so I'm able to view all my buckets and be able to copy files between them.

Is that possible in s3 anywhere? I have seen it happening with one of the file managers so I assume it can be done with s3anywhere :-)

Thanka

No, you have to know the target bucket, S3Anwyhere allows creating configuration per bucket and then manage bucket content. You cannot list all your buckets.

It will be possible in next release through remote copy/paste support. Notice that S3 buckets permissions must allow it too.
