Persistant Notification

Hello!
I have one bug/feature request.
When uploading or downloading from a FTP server, a notification pops up. However, when I press clear notifications the notification dissappears. Is it possible to make the notification persistant (i.e. not dissappear? ^^). This would serve as a reminder that a transfer is in progress.
