Upload cancelled if use back button after share

I start an upload using the SHARE feature from CamScanner. The upload dialog displays. If I press back, the upload is cancelled which wasn't my intent.
I used home, to leave that screen, and that allowed the upload to continue in the background. I couldn't do anything in CamScanner though, because the upload dialog was there. Ideally I would be able to queue up more files from CamScanner.
