Large directories on FTP server aren't fully populated

I've got a directory on one of my FTP servers that has a bout 250 files and directories in12 it. AndFTP only displays about 12 of them. I've tried both active and passive mode with and without resume support all with no difference and I'm using straight FTP. For reference, DroidFTP has no problem displaying the same directory but I much prefer to use AndFTP's UI and capabilities.

Could you provide a temporary access (login/password) to your FTP server to allow me to reproduce the problem ? If so then drop an email to support(at)lysesoft(dot)com

Sorry, no, it's behind a firewall that seals it off from outside access and I'm not authorized to break that seal.I can give you information about the FTP server version, etc, if that'll help.

ProFTPD 1.3.0 running on a Buffalo LinkStation Pro

FWIW, I tried this again on the latest release (RC7, I think ... there were two updates within a 24 or 48 hour period on the Android Market and I upgraded both times). I noticed on this latest release that it appears the files that are shown are those files that sort first.

Is there anything else I can provide?

EDIT: I just verified the build I tried it with -- it's RC8.

Could you try to enable UTF-8 in FTP settings ?

OK, just enabled UTF-8 and saved the configuration. There was no change in behavior.

I'm seeing the same issue and I have about 213 files. I can't open up the FTP location for testing either. But it's basically a Synology DS207+ NAS with the latest firmware. The same directory works properly with droidFTP, so this issue is a bug on the client side.

Thanks,
Sarav

This issue seems to have been fixed in the latest release (1.0 final release). Thanks! Now I can uninstall droidftp.
