there seems to be a bug with file extensions somehow:

select "beach.jpeg" in quickpic
send to andftp
it uploads file as "beach.jpg.jpeg"

any clue how to fix this? quickpics fault or andftps fault?

Go to Menu -> Options from intial screen. Uncheck "Append on media store items".
Does it help?
