I am using a Droid X. I had used AndFTP for some time and had no problem at all.
I then modded my phone with Liberty 1.5.
I downloaded AndFTP and setup it up for my ftp client, I saved the config and tried to connect.
It first did not ask for the password or username as I had left them out of the config file.
It acted like it was connecting with the message connecting please wait. It then came up with the message "java.set unknown exception.ftp"
When I go back to edit the config it shows no info that I had put in the config previously.

Any ideas?

If your configuration seems lost then try to "force close" the application from settings application in Android. Once restarted you should see your AndFTP configuration. Also, the error you get means that remote FTP host is not found. Could you try with IP address instead of hostname?
