Synchronisation does not start in background - scheduled eve

Andftp version - Pro (purchased and installed today)
Hardware - Vigica c100s
Android Version - 4.4.2

Wakelock=Enabled(Full)

I am syncing from a remote server to an Android TV Box with 1TB hard drive.
If I try syncing manually in the foreground it works fine.
I have scheduled the sync for every hour but nothing happens - It does not start in background.

Do you have any third party too that saves battery or hibernates apps (including our scheduler)

It could be:
- Greenify that hibernates apps
- Xposed framework
- Another Security/Battery saver/Privacy app

Sync scheduling is working.
BTW - There is no battery it is a DVB-S2 (Satelite receiver) / Android hybrid.

Remaining issues:
1. I'd like know what the sync is up to. Is there anywhere I can see what file it is syncing and % completed.
2. I am in Africa. We have frequent power cuts. I noticed resume does not work and when a sync restarts (manual) it restarts from 0%. When I get home I will try solving this issue by changing the sync from being file name and size, file name, date, and size to see if this will resolve this issue.
