Bug: failure to connect when .bashrc prints output

Postby andnotheruser » Fri Mar 27, 2015 7:24 am

If you have a line in your .bashrc that is sourced on login, such as:
Code: Select all
    echo "Hello World"

AndFTP will fail to connect to the server with the error:
Cannot change directory to Hello World

The AndFTP command prompt shows:
Code: Select all
cd "Hello World
/home/myuser"
bash: line 1: cd: Hello World

This problem goes away if the offending echo is removed from the .bashrc. Problem occurs with stderr as well as stdout.

It appears AndFTP's remote directory is somehow getting prepended with the output from the .bashrc sourced on login, causing the cd command to fail.
