AndFTP Android dont show directory content

Post by hellere »

Hey

I installed AndFTP 3.6 on my Note 3, trying to connect in SFTP (SSH2) to my academic server.

I am using the same OpenSSH key as in the Desktop FTP, but AndFTP, after login, dosent let me do anything, e.g., the Dir is empty, cant create or modify anything.

the remote dir is /home/web

What can be the problem?

It might be because of date format issue, does it work without SSH key? If it's a date format issue then it won't.

OK, Thanks for answering me

what do u mean by date format? there is no possibility to connect to the server without using a key, thats the whole point of it being protected :-)

date format of what? between the device and the server? the key and the server?

How do i fix that?

Sorry for the delay, did you get "Invalid credentials" error? If not then it means connection succeeded but file list failed possibly due to date format error returned by the SFTP server.
You can see what AndFTP does in the bottom small window, it reports CONNECT, LOGIN, LS ...

We need to know what kind of error you get to help. Or would it be possible for you to provide a temporary SSH account/key so we can test it? If so drop an email to support@lysesoft.com
