The local phone is the master. I created a word document with Kingsoft Office app.
Its creation time, say is 5:00 pm. I sync the phone with my server and a copy is placed on
the remote server. Sync again and the report comes back as no changes.

I access the phones original document and add some words which changes the time of the file and its size. I save it over the original. I check the properties of the file and find that it is dated
3 minutes later and the file size has grown some.

I press sync and andftp reports that nothing has changed. But it has.
The sync criteria is set to file size, date and name.

I can not explain this behavior.

Set criteria to name + size + newest date. The name + size + date fails on many device due to Android OS issue to modify file timestamp without root access.

That didn't help. Also, I need the phone to be the master. Using name, size and date. Regardless, both files were seen as the same after small changes to a document. I verified the date differences.
