Still a bug in FTPS (explicit)?

Post by Anduser123 »

If I try to connect with AndFTP 2.9.9.4 (SGS2 and/or Galaxytab 2 10.1, both Android 4) to the FTP-server via local WLAN and local IP explicite FTPS (passive) works fine. However if I try this via G3/UMTS and the dyndns-name or even the "global IP" it doesnt work. If I use another external PC it works with the dyndns servername. I've tested with an actual Filezilla and with the actual FireFTP (Firefox plugin).
FTP without encryption works fine. (ports 55536 to 55664 are not blocked and are forwarded like port 20/21 - thats not the problem).

AndFTP gives the following messages:
220 Diskstation FTP server ready.
AUTH TLS
234 AUTH SSL command successful.

However no directory or file appears - remains empty.

May be you have some advice what could be wrong.
Whats suspicious, total comander+ftp plugin doesn't work either, however I don't know what FTPS the total commander uses (explicit, implicit or SSL). My Synology (DS4) only supports explicit FTPS.

Thanks for your feedback.

Try to disable re-use SSL option on FTP server. It is not supported by Android Operating system.
