Hello guys, thank you for stopping by. I used and ftp since i first found it in the market and I had no problems with it connecting to my sftp, but now i cant connect anymore, every time i tried to connect it displays:


220 Microsoft ftp service
AUTH TLS
234 AUTH command ok. Expecting TLS negotianion.

and it just hangs there, my server is configure to ftp explicit, when i try filezilla from my pc it works just fine. any thoughts? the problem started after the ANDFTP update.

Do you know which version you was using before it failed?

sorry guys i've been so busy with the holidays around the corner. but i did some testing and it works great if i connect to my wifi (internal network). Now Im suspecting that it maybe something else and not the client.

I was using the latest version that was out during july, to be honest i cant remember the version.

Update now i cant connect not even on wifi but i can connect via pc.

ok guys, so i tested it with filezilla (in a regular pc) outside of my network and it worked like a charm, but it still dont work in "andftp" unless I'm connected to my home network via wifi in my cell. So i tried a diffrent approach, i setup my ftp server to SFTP (SSH). and for some reason "ANDFTP" likes that better than ssl. In other words my andftp connection works with ssh and not ssl.

Note: when i try to connect with ssh it asks me to enter my username and password even that its already in there i just hit ok (three times) and it connects.

I'm going to test your FTP account.
