Remote Directory Listing Missing on Phone

When I logon to my Filezilla server using FTP from my Droid X 2.1 everything works fine and I can see that a session has been established but I get no directory list of files on my phone. At the bottom of the screen is a small scrollable 2 line display that shows the commands and results from the server connection but there are no files listed from the server. I have used Filezilla client from my laptop and it works fine. I have setup the AndFTP with various values of remote dir thinking that may help based upon a prior posting but never see any files listed from the remote server. I am using version 1.9 of AndFTP. I am able to successfully connect another FTP server that I frequently access with the same setup settings.
