When connecting to a server shouldn't AndFTP send an

Code: Select all

CLNT clientname
OPTS UTF8 ON
command to enable UTF-8 if you select UTF-8 in the properties?

I'm having trouble to connect to my server because of this issue...

This problem has been fixed in AndFTP 1.6

Use "Feat (auto-detection)" in AndFTP options. It will send OPTS UTF8 ON if supported.

Still not working...
AndFTP 1.6 is sending the UTF-8 command however it should first send the client command like I mentioned it in my first post. I'm using Gene6 FTP Server.

With AndFTP 1.6 I get the following error code in the command log:

Code: Select all

501 Please CLNT first

Could you provide a testing FTP account to support(at)lysesoft(dot)com?
