Cannot read directory

Hi,

I have troubles to list files in some specific directories; I suspect that it is because of french characters in some files: In my test the remote folder has these 3 files (works with filezilla):

"France 2 bas débit - Les tontons flingueurs - 04-04-2010 20h34 1h55m.ts"
"France 4 bas débit - Le cinquième élément - 28-03-2010 20h35 2h14m.ts"
"France 4 bas débit - Le monde ne suffit pas - 20-12-2009 22h45 2h25m.ts"

When I open the folder, i have no error message in the bottom window: "LIST ... File Status OK ... Closing data cponnection" but i have a brief empty popup and the folder is empty.

I can send a screenshot or log with log collector it helpd.

okay i have read this thread which seems very related, sorry i definitively should have done that first

I also saw the charset options in andftp advanced tab and tried both default & UTF-8 with no luck.

In my case i can't send you login as the ftp server is only local to my home network and i can't configure it (it is a "black box" provided by my ADSL access provider). As far as i could hear, this box is linux based and i guess it is probably using the default vsftpd ftp server.

I will check if i can see something that can help in response to 'SYST' command.

okay, the FTP server answered to SYST command something like "UNIX Type: L8"
