Droid AndFTP

Hey

I think I have done everything right but can't get this to work.

i am running filezilla on my pc

after putting in the settings if AndFTP is in passive(recommended) this pops up in filezilla on connect:

It pauses at "entering passive mode" for like 20 seconds before disconnect

What am I doing wrong?

I was having the same issue over cellular with the same error messages(425). When I run it on WiFi it works pefectly so I think the problem may be Verizon. I have no confirmation of this but the problem is not AndFTP or the Droid, or my Filezilla FTP server. It still fails on 3G but my home and other corporate hotspots work just fine.

I have the same problem. Works great over WiFi, not over 3G pausing at the same place. I'm in the Netherlands on KPN.

Any update on this? I have the same problem it works fine on wifi (both on the home network and on others outside it) When I try via verizon 3G it appears to log in but never produces a list of files on the server. In passive mode it times out, in active mode it never returns.

I guess Verizon has closed/blocked port 20. We're going to allow data connection port in next release. We're facing the same issue for FTPES with port 990.
