I am a new droid user and cant seem to connect to my ftp site. I can connect to others but when I try to connect to mine i get the following error message:

"Java.net UnknownHostException: Host is Unresolved: ftp: 21"

I use Ipswitch WS_ftp Pro. I can connect from my computer by entering ftp address, username, and password, but cant connect with droid using andftp app.
This App would be EXTREMELY helpfull to me if I could get it to connect.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

What did you fill in in hostname parameter ?

In the host name parameter I typed ftp:// followed by my static IP address. That is what I have to type into the address bar when connecting via the web.

It is also the "address" listed on my ipswitch software when I connect using it when I am not connecting through a web browser.

Should I be filling in something different?
Any thoughts?
Are there any other apps that will allow me to connect to my ftp site? All I want to do is to be able to view what is in my FTP folder.

Don't you have an hostname ? Not an IP address ?
