Download a 100 Meg file causing time out issue

I was using ANDFTP to download a 100 Meg file from ftp server to my handset. At the elapsed time of about 30 minutes and 95% file download is done, the ANDFTP stopped with error msg:
Download failed: java.net.SocketException: The operation timed out().
Would anyone please help to tell how to resolve this time out issue.
