Do you have any idea how to do that ?Could you remove 'Type: L8' from your FTP system signature ?
No dir listin after connect
Re: No dir listin after connect
Re: No dir listin after connectnever mind, figured it out - the ftpserv configuration file (which was supposed to emulating unix by default) was corrupt. one more question, is there a way to get listed files to be opened on selection by a default app (as opposed to downloading selected files and then opening ). for example, jpeg files to be opend by a viewer?
thanks Re: No dir listin after connectNo, you need to download them. Adding the feature you're asking for will always require files to be downloaded first.
Re: No dir listin after connectSame problem for me on OVH.net host.
It is also a UNIX Type: L8 but I can't change it! Could you help me ? Thanks XD Re: No dir listin after connectThe problem for the other users was a NETWARE host mismatch with Unix. If yours is really a Unix then it should work. Can you send a testing FTP account to support(at)lysesoft(dot)com ?
Re: No dir listin after connectCan this "Type: L8" issue be fixed in the 1.3 release? Or will it have to be removed from the ftp system signature? thanks.
Re: No dir listin after connectWe could add an option in advanced section to make end-user select the signature. It won't be added in 1.3 but we're adding it to the wish list.
Re: No dir listin after connectMy HTC Eris connects and logs in fine but I get no directory tree. It was connecting last week and the only thing I have done on my PC is where Comcast switched us from McAfee to Norton and it is installed now. I am using the Filezilla Server for FTP access. Firewall access looks the same as before. An email has been sent with testing info.
Re: No dir listin after connectReceived, we will try it next week.
Re: No dir listin after connectSame problem here.
My FTP Server runs under Ubunto 9.04, ProFTP. I get in the log: 215 UNIX Type: L8 PASV 227 Entering Passive Mode (192,168,0,190,9,75). LIST After that, no directory is listed. Using FireFTP this works (directory is shown). |
