I think it is advised that the app itself must fully EXIT from the system this including not caching any data in the background else user has to "Force close" under task manager in order for it to able to connect to the network shared folder again. Due to currently the app will be cached in the back...

Hi thanks for reply. I mostly accessed the shared folder on Windows XP . But I even tested on Windows 2003 also the same problem. As you can see my attached image, the AndSMB is actually exit but the CPU usage is still that high and needs to force stop else it drains my battery life as well. Thanks.
